Nepal Earthquake Hospital Donation

A powerful 7.9 magnitude earthquake struck Nepal early Saturday April 25th, 2015 in between the city of Pokhara and the capital Kathmandu. Thousands of people have been injured or killed throughout Nepal that were rocked by this earthquake. However, just hours later, aftershocks of 4.5 and greater magnitude are being felt throughout these areas. Historic buildings and World Heritage Sites throughout Katmandu have been destroyed; houses have been reduced to rubble, and people simply have nowhere to go.
My name is Devina Thapa and I am currently a high school student in northern Virginia. As a person of American-Nepalese heratige I feel a very personal connection to this disaster and want to help in any way possible.
Thousands of people have died and many more are injured, however, the scale of devastation is not clear. What is clear is that the people of Nepal need help. The amount of people in need of medical care far exceeds the space available in hospitals and the earthquake victims are not able to recieve all the care needed. 100% of the money collected from this fundraiser willl go directly to the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital. "T.U. Teaching Hospital is a non profitable hospital situated in Kathmandu. It is the central referral hospital and deals with all type of diseases.
At present it is dealing with the patients affected by the recently hit earthquake."
Any support would be greatly appreciated and will make a huge difference to the people of Nepal!
Thank You,
Devina Thapa
