My name is Rolfe Neigenfind. I'm a musician living and working in New York City. For those of you who don't know me, I'm a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. I released my debut album Chicago in 2015. In the few years since my last release a lot has changed - I've moved to NYC, played in a few different bands, and written a whole lot of new music! I'm excited to share this music with you, but need your help to make it happen.
Since Chicago, the way music is consumed has changed dramatically. With CDs becoming relics, streaming services have changed the landscape both for artists and listeners. I have decided that instead of releasing this new music as a traditional album - I will start releasing a new song once every 4-6 weeks moving forward. I believe this is the most effective model for getting my music out to you.
In addition to all the songwriting, I’ve also been building a home studio. I will be able to offset some of the recording costs by doing a lot of it right here at home! I will still need to visit a professional studio for some things like drums, percussion and horn sections. However, the money saved by employing the home studio will make your support go further!
I need to raise $8,600 to get this project off the ground. As with my last release I want to be completely transparent about where your support is going. Here are just a few of the things that add up when making good music:

-Mastering
-Copyrighting
-Distribution
Throughout this process I will be uploading videos both to Youtube and my Patreon page to take you behind the scenes in the recording and writing process. The profits from Patreon, music placement, and sales will all go back into the recording process.
