Newtown(CT), Odyssey of the Mind

Hi, our names are AJ Salaris, Connor Munro, Owen Walsh, Alex Watson, and Quinn Fitzgerald and we are a part of a Newtown High School Odyssey of the Mind team. This year, our team competed at the state level and won the competition, sweeping the scores. Here you can see the final scores of the competition and just how well our team did. This victory means that we are invited to the World Final's competition at Iowa State University. In order to get to the competition, my team needs to take a flight and while we are there we need to pay for room and board, so as you may guess, the costs add up fast. If you donate, the money given will be put directly to the cost of the flights for each of our members along with the cost of room and board along with the cost to ship our amazing scenery and set pieces to Ames, Iowa. 
In 2013, we recieved the same opportunity and here is a picture of our team before heading onto stage to compete. That year we won 15th out of 63 teams nationally. Come May 25th, our team wishes that you will help us get to the competition as our team may very well place in top 10 nationally. This means the world to us, and any contribution would be so greatly appreciated. Below are a few pictures from when we went to worlds.
