Save Noelia's LIFE
Donation protected
Noelia received her double lung transplant on 12/07/17. Now her body is shutting down. Her anti-rejection medication has injured her kidneys. Her blood counts are all over the place. She has had mutiple blood transfusions, plasma transfusions and now undergoing plasmapheresis at St Louis Children's Hospital PICU department. Her white blood count is so low is considered critical. They are not sure if her kidneys will ever work right again. They still don't know if she is rejecting her lungs or not. She had to be taken off her anti-rejection meds due to damage they were causing her kidneys.
We had to be flown in from our hospital in St Pete because she was so critical.
My 13 year old daughter is fighting for her life. She was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis at age 2 and has been struggling to breath her entire life. As her lung function deteriorates and hospitalizations become a monthy routine. Her only hope of survival now is a Double Lung Transplant at St Louis Children's Hospital. She was officially listed for double lung transplant on 09/07/17. She has spent over half her life in the hospital. She spends hours a day doing respiratory therapy and pulmonary physical therapy justso she can breath. She is no longer healthy enough to attend school and has been home schooled with Florida Virtual School for the last year. Although, she is at the end stages of Cystic Fibrosis, she is a fighter. Her desire to live life and have the opportunity to grow older and go back to school like her siblings will only be possible with the double lung transplant. Noelia has 4 brothers and 2 sisters whom all love her very much. This is our last hope to save our little girl's life. There are many things that are not covered by her insurance. Will you help my little CF warrior breath with new lungs? Every donation helps. Thank you for your compassion and your consideration of a donation to save our daughters life.
