I'm Rowan. I'm a 21 year old trans guy living in western Washington. I'm attending The Evergreen State College in Olympia, and I need your help.
Since I was young, I've felt "different." I never quite felt like a girl, even though I was treated like one. I was a "tomboy" among my peers, and always played with Legos and squirt guns with the boys, instead of playing house with the girls.
I came to realize my identity a few years ago. I finally felt like who I'm supposed to be! The problem is, everyone still thinks I'm a girl, when on the inside, I'm a guy. Every day I struggle emotionally with not looking like a man. Sometimes it causes me to fall into a major depression. I can't live like this. So I'm starting my transition to the male sex.
One part of my transition is to remove my breasts, creating a flat, male-looking chest. I found a surgeon who will perform this surgery, but I need help with the bills.
I'm saving up for surgery right now, and I'm close to getting a job to help save money. So far I have about $100 saved up. Even if you only have a dollar to give, I'll be so thankful.
