TX Woman Stopped Jesse - Honor Her!

Last September 2014 - Karen of Sour Lake, TX - a single mom and mother of three boys decided to take a break and head to the beach.  The stress of attending college at the same time as her sons created a desire to relax.  The images of the surf at Bolivar Peninsula, the sounds of the sea gulls too strong a temptation.  Work could wait.  Karen packed a lunch and a lawn chair and headed 60 miles south to High Island - where 326 aka 124 meets Highway 87.  Little did Karen know her outiing would bring her in direct contact with Virginia fugitive Jesse Matthew.  Karen recognized him and called the authorities.  Jesse's life of crime had come to an end 1000 miles from home.  Because of Karen's actions -others will live.  Because of Karen's phone call - no other family will face a life time of heartbreak and tears.  

Karen should be honored and recognized.  She is a hero.  A donation would be used to provide a better life for Karen and her sons.  It would pay school tuition, medical expenses as Karen has Epstein-Barr virus.  It would be a God send. 

What is my connection?  I am a citizen of Kountze, TX and live in Hardin Co. Texas, the same county Karen does.  We have met and discussed this campaign.  She has agreed to allow me to raise the funds and at an appropriate time - deliver the funds raised to her via a local bank.  All funds should be deposited in a personal bank account afterwhich Karen will receive the funds.
