Bryan & Nancy Williams Assistance

Donation protected
Hello, I'm Bev.  An online friend of mine, Nancy Williams, and her husband, Bryan Williams, are homeless. They live in the Denver area and they have no permanent place to live. They have stayed at a motel for a few days, but now they're running out of cash and need help with finding permanent living quarters that are affordable and will keep them off the streets and out of the cold.

Both are in their 60s and the situation is exacerbated by their age and health issues. Like many people, they have fallen on bad times due to the economy. Right now they simply need affordable housing and enough food to eat. Bryan does work, but Nancy is unable to work and has applied for disability.

One of the biggest outlays for shelter is in deposits and upfront rent of the first month as well as last month's rent. For someone who is struggling to get into permanent housing of any kind, this can be a challenge. When all your money is going just to get you through another day, there's not much left over to pay large sums of additional money just to get you into a permanent housing space, whether it's an apartment, room, or small rental home.

Although I know I cannot do a great deal on my own, if others can pitch in with me, maybe we can do something to help them.
