Gamora's Emergency Oral Surgery

Wizard of Paws Wildlife Education Inc. is a 501 c 3 Non Profit sanctuary. We are accepting donations to help with costs of Gamora's oral surgery to repair her teeth. 

Gamora's two lower canine teeth and a few of her smaller teeth in front are shaved down to the point where you can see the pulp of each tooth. Exposed pulp puts her at risk for getting infections and it also creates a lot of pain in her teeth and jaw itself.

We were initially told by the mother of Gamora's former owner that Gammie broke her teeth throwing 16in x 16in patio stones around by picking them up with her mouth and tossing them in the air. 

We were later informed by the former owner herself that they shaved her teeth down, that she didnt break them. 

The mother then hinted that the vet did the procedure without their consent and that it was "just the tips, and the sharp edges were for safety". 

I called the vet and spoke to them on the phone, they sent us a letter stating that they oppose teeth filing, and they would NEVER do a procedure like that. 

Our vet is referring us to the local University for the procedure to be done because they don't do surgeries on sanctuary and rescue animals from April-June.
We have been quoted between $300-2000 for her procedure depending on the damage done, any existing infections, and of course pain medications and antibiotics after the procedure is done.
