The Opica Adult Day Program & Counseling Center
Keller Williams Santa Monica|Pacific Palisades will be among over 100,000 Keller Williams associates world wide participating in the 7th annual RED Day being held on May 14, 2015.
The focus of RED Day is to make a positive impact on our local community and the only criteria for selecting an activity, is that it improves our local community!
Since the first RED Day in 2009, Keller Williams associates have given almost a half million hours of community service through activities ranging from food and blood drives to cleaning up trash in public parks, revamping gardens at nursing homes and rebuilding homes and schools for community members in need.
Last year Keller Williams Santa Monica|Pacific Palisades RED Day benefited The Westside Food Bank and this year, we are benefiting two organizations. We will be holding a luncheon and fun talent show for the older adults at Wise & Healthy Aging in Santa Monica as well as raising funds for The Opica Adult Day Program & Counseling Center .
They are in great need of fresh exterior paint and we are going to help them meet that need! Will you join us?
OPICA: Optimisitc People In a Caring Atmosphere
Opica was established in 1979 as the first Adult Day Care Center in the City of Los Angeles. It continues to be a model for program development and internships.
Opica provides stimulating and therapeutic cognitive and sensory programs that actively engage people from early to later stages of memory loss and related neurological impairment.
In addition, Opica offers emotional support to family members, providing individual, family and support group counseling for caregivers and the general public.
We are incredibily grateful for the work of Opica and the lives they are making a difference in every day.
Together with you, in return, we want to make a difference for them! Let's get them that fresh new exterior paint so the beauty of their building can match the beauty of their work!
