MH370 Search Tracking
Donation protected
The Independent Group (IG) is a group of 17 dedicated volunteer scientists and engineers from around the world who have been working since March 2014 to assist the Australian Transport Safety Bureau (ATSB) with the task of locating MH370. Our work has been widely reported in the media and our influence on the search area has been significant. For example:

Currently, our work is being hampered by the lack of search ship tracking data. Four ships are actively searching for MH370 in the Southern Indian Ocean (Fugro Discovery, Fugro Equator, Fugro Supporter and GO Phoenix). Real-time tracking data is available from commercial sources, but the cost is significant. We are reaching out to the public for assistance in funding the acquisition of the data needed to help find MH370. Thanks for your consideration.
