Regina Mary Knox Facenda, beloved mother, gammaw, wife, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully on November 28, 2015. To celebrate her memory we are seeking to raise $5,000 for donation to the Norfolk Botanical Gardens, in Norfolk, Virginia.
These gardens were a sanctuary for our mother where she frequently spent long afternoons, often with her grandchildren in tow, reading and reflecting on the word of God while surrounded by the wonders of the natural world. A donation of $5,000 will allow us to place a teak bench in the Garden with an accompanying commemorative plaque in her honor and help support the mission of the Norfolk Botanical Society.
