Paimiu Development is a Native Alaskan nonprofit organization that focuses on rural Alaskan communities that lack basic needs including water and sewage systems. There are many health hazards without proper disposal and treatment of human waste.

We will also implement the use of renewable energy in the form of wind turbines and solar panels. Rural Alaskan communities are one of the first to see the effects of climate change like the villages of Newtok and Shishmaref.

Our vision is to run 100% on renewable energy in each community and set an example to the rest of the world. If we don't act now, there will be many disasters from climate change around the globe. Preserve our only home, Earth. We will perform projects to install as many solar panels and wind turbines it takes to achieve our goal.
We will also upgrade the current waste/dump sites in the communities. Many of them are performing terribly, harming the environment and wildlife.

We will perform projects to correct underperforming waste sites and implement recycling systems to reduce waste production.
Unemployment rates often exceed 50% in most communities. By performing these projects, there will come jobs for the community members.

The nonprofit organization is called Paimiu Development.
I am the president of this nonprofit organization. I am from a rural community of Tuntutuliak that lacks the things that we have mentioned above. I understand what it is like to live in these conditions. I thought it was normal while I was growing up. We, here at Paimiu Development, are determined to solve all of these problems.
We are in the process of starting up the nonprofit organization and we don't have the funding to receive tax-exempt status through the state of Alaska.
By donating, you will be helping us start the nonprofit organization that will help the many communities in rural Alaska.
