Parker and Fletcher's Moving Fund

As many of you know, Eddie and I will be moving to New Zealand in Summer 2015 for my next post of assignment with the Department of State. We are both very excited for this move, and ready to start the next chapter of our lives. With every move comes a myriad of expenses, both expected and unexpected. We are lucky enough to have time to plan this move, and have notice of one of our major expenses... moving Parker and Fletcher.



Due to the strict environmental standards in New Zealand, we are required to use a pet shipping company to move the pups. We have found a great company, PetRelocation.com, and a wonderful Pet Relocation specialist and are confident that our kids will arrive safely and stress free. The only obstacle between them and a New Zealand dream is the cost. Because we have such wonderful friends and family, and all of you know and love our puppies, we are asking for your help.



Eddie and I have yet to adopt a child of our own, so currently the pups are our pets as well as our children, and we couldn't fathom leaving them behind. We are going to incur these expenses either way, so we are kindly begging each and every one of our family and friends for assistance... no matter how big or small. Although $11,000 seems like a lot of money, there is a lot of coordination, services and fees required for an extensive move like this. Here are the services that we will pay for:

As you can tell, there are a lot of preparations and requirements for moving a pet to New Zealand... and we are doing this for TWO!
