Please pay my rent for June
Donation protected
This is not an easy post for me to make, but the best thing I can do right now is to tell the TRUTH.
About a year ago, I moved into a larger house and my rent went up by a factor of nearly double. At the time I felt that that would be ok, as my income had gone up enough to be able to afford my rent. I was right. My income has only increased since then and each month I am easily able to make my rent payment.
HOWEVER, I do not want to pay . It seems frivolous for me to spend my own money again and again, each month, essentially shoveling money into an incinerator for "shelter" when I can turn to the kindness and support of my friends, family and most especially, my FANS, to help me pay my rent.
This is why I am turning to all of you. I am asking, humbly, my heart in my hands, for you to contribute whatever you can to my June rent payment. Anything you can give would be so hugely appreciated. I keep wanting to use the phrase, "I need your help" but it's important to me to be honest. I don't need your help at all; I simply want your money to be spent in place of my own.
To add insult to injury, during the entire month of June, I will not even be utilizing my home as I have the difficult task of working on a high budget movie which is shooting in Rome the so called "eternal city"- filled with ancient sights and onyx-black cobblestone streets weaving themselves through the "romantic" labyrinthian alleyways of this Italian "gem." So I pay rent for a home I’m not even in? While I sleep in another, paid for in full by production, luxury apartment with a 360-degree view of stucco rooftops as the opulent dome of St. Peter's Basilica essentially mocks me on the purple-orange horizon? No thank you. It's too much- just too much. I finally had to reach out and ask your support.
I do not want anyone to know how much I actually pay in rent so I have set a fundraising goal of more than my actual rent to keep you in the dark. Rest assured that my actual rent amount is contained within the greater number of eleven thousand dollars. You have my word that any amount I receive that EXCEEDS my rent, I will apply to other expenses in my life: clothes, gasoline (premium), soy candles, perfumes, meringues, and macarons (the colorful French, almond layer cookies not "macaroons", the pile of coconut shreds. Blech!) Some have expressed doubt in my ability to spend thousands of dollars on cookies and I look forward to the opportunity to prove them wrong.
In addition to my own personal shopping expenses, it does take quite a bit of money to run an estate and I can apply some of the excess contributions to some less glamorous, household related expenses such as: hot tub cleaning fees, thrice weekly cold pressed juice delivery and of course, raw food for my three white dogs.
Again, to clarify, I in no way need this money and am in a very stable place financially. In fact, from an economic perspective, I have never been doing better. When the first of the month rolls around, I almost don't even notice the rent check going out. Let's take a look at that key word: almost. Here's the thing, I do notice.
Again, to be SUPER clear, rent is never a slight problem for me to afford. BUT it is a HUGE inconvenience. I like my money and I want to keep it. I want to keep it very much.
If you can give anything, even as little as just one to seven hundred dollars, it would go a long way towards me being able to not spend even ONE DOLLAR on my own personal expenses.
This is the moment where one human being can help another. This is your chance to use your money as a means of spiritual currency, the energy of that offering will, no doubt, be re-paid to you in kind. I'm of course speaking metaphorically as I have no plans or desire to pay you back.
Please. Please. Help a financially successful young man avoid the needless loss of literally his own money.
