Burglary: PEAKVISION Recovery Fund

PEAKVISION is a sports-performance sunglass brand located in Stuart, Florida.  We have been in business for 12 years and had the misfortune of being burglarized this past weekend, October 10-11, 2014. More than 90% of our inventory of high-performance sunglasses was stolen by thieves who targeted us knowing exactly what they were coming to steal.  Inventory that cost us more than $150,000 was taken and most unfortunately, is not covered with inventory insurance.   Law enforcement investigators indicate that PEAKVISION was targeted by professional criminals who are most likely positioned  to cash-in on their heist by moving the goods to South America.

Without inventory we are not able to generate on-going cash flow and we do not have the financial capital to order needed quantities of new inventory, which takes 120 days for production.  Over the years we have had tens of thousands of loyal customers who have become not just customers, but also raving fans who have shared their PEAKVISION discovery with others.

This GOFUNDME project has been established to enable our small business to survive this heartless, criminal act.  To keep our vision of bringing superior eye protection to high-performance athletes alive, we will be using the funds to replace our inventory that was stolen.
