 Greetings Friends, Family, and Literary Lovers!

My $3,000 funding will be used to attend a writing retreat on Martha's Vineyard with faculty and alumni peers from my graduate program at Lesley University in June of 2015. 

Why am I raising money to attend a literary retreat?
 
While I've earned a BA degree in Journalism and an MFA degree in Creative Writing, attending writing retreats and enjoying guided craft study among literary experts has eluded my reach due to time, health crisis, and finances.

On March 20, 2015, I launched this campaign & in less than one month:

I only need $1,150 to reach my goal,

13 people to offer                    $50             ($650)
20 people to offer                    $25              ($500)

                                                           Total =       $1,150  

I’ve learned much about E-commerce in just one month, and the most important lessons are the associative fees. For this reason, it is imperative that I reach my goal in order to make this retreat happen.

Also, so many have committed but delayed paying because they wanted to give MORE than the mere $25.        

I am grateful for your generosity, but appreciate both the least and the most.

My greatest gift was $300 followed by two donors who offered $200 gifts. I didn’t even have a level for those, but what did I learn?

Never limit your dreams or the power of those who believe in you. Thank you (again) to all who believe in me.

Your pledge to support my writing is a major contribution to both my life and the rich literature I seek to produce via a memoir that chronicles my adolescence and accolades through the mature years to a cancer diagnosis, survival, and my current quest to re-claim         my life.

It is also a brave literary foray and true story of how when one's self-identity and parental truths are challenged, success exists only as
a  noun hosting two double consonants that kiss.
