The Phil Vann Memorial Fund
Donation protected
When the Veterans Administration abandons veterans, it abandons their families as well. I am a widow of a Decorated Vietnam Veteran, Phil Vann. The VA failed to treat my husband properly. After 8 years of not receiving proper treatment for PTSD and Agent Orange related illness, my beloved husband of 33 years passed away. Phil also had an autoimmune disease that was later revealed in his autopsy and never diagnosed by the VA. I have written a book about the appalling practices of the VA Medical System and the actual conspiracy of withholding an Agent Orange related medical diagnosis. My story also reveals the suffering of my husband with PTSD and the horrible consequences his illness brought upon our family. Phil’s multiple suicide attempts brought me to the point of going public to CBS News in New Jersey. In my interviews on CBS, our story attracted the attention of President Ronald Reagan. Through President Reagan’s direct involvement, my husband became Service Connected for his PTSD and started receiving medical assistance.
My book has been well received, and is currently at a well-known publisher, and it has the interest for a movie, but because I am not a Published Author I must pay for the publishing and purchasing of the first printing of the books.
I am embarrassed to ask for help with my book. I was hoping someone would be interested in helping me finance the publishing of my book. I plan to repay my investor with a return of their investment, plus 25%. So far, I have not found an investor, so I am asking for your help with any amount of a donation to get my book published. The book is filled with stories of hope, redemption and miracles. It shines a very bright light on the corruption of the VA medical system that truly needs to be exposed. My book can bring an awareness of VA related issues, and it could possibly save a veteran’s life. My intention is to set up a non-profit charity in my husband’s memory to give 10% of the sales of my book to the Widows of Veterans who have suffered PTSD and Agent Orange related deaths. I also hope to help Veterans with PTSD (And their families). With a grateful heart I thank you for your consideration.
