TK Odyssey of the Mind

We are so proud of our Thornapple Kellogg Odyssey of the Mind teams! TWO TKOM teams placed 1st in the State of Michigan at the competition held at TKHS in March, qualifying them to advance to the World Finals at Michigan State University in May, 2015, where over 800 teams from around the world will compete.  These two teams from TK-- one veteran high school team with three seniors competing for the last year, and one young middle school team experiencing Worlds for the first time-- demonstrated exemplary problem solving skills and creativity, combined with outstanding performances in their respective problems. They are looking forward to the unique opportunity to demonstrate their talents in an international setting at World Finals. We know they will positively represent TK to the rest of the OM World community.

Even though the competition is in our home state, the entrance and boarding fees are quite expensive. Our team will be fundraising in  several ways, but we have been asked by many supporters if they could simply donate money to help the teams meet their goals. So, through GoFund, supporters can donate any amount to help get our teams to the competition.  Please consider making a donation to assist in covering the cost to attend the competition at MSU.
