Hello! We are the Ponytail Posse , an all-girls competitive robotics team from Shoreview, MN. Our team began with FIRST LEGO League in 2009 and we are now a FIRST Tech Challenge (high school robotics) team.
As you may know, we recently traveled to Iowa to compete in the FTC North Super Regional Championship. This event was comprised of the best of the Midwest and we had a blast meeting new friends and running Stacy the robot. At the end of the weekend, we placed second overall and advanced to the World Championship.
The FTC World Championship will take place in late April in St. Louis, MO. There, we will compete among 128 of the best robotics teams in the world from over 40 countries. This honor came as a huge shock to us and we can't believe the trip we've dreamed about for so long is actually happening.
Now, we're set with the arduous task of raising enough money to compete in St. Louis - and we need your help. Any amount of contribution makes a difference and we really appreciate the amount of support we've received over the years from friends and family.
