Tomos Roberts-Young ydw i a dwi’n byw yn Abertawe. Fel aelod o Gapel Gomer ac wrth weithio o fewn Cymanfa Bedyddiedig Gorllewin Morgannwg, dwi di cael y cyfle dros y blynyddoedd diwethaf i arwain astudiaethau beiblaidd, helpu gyda chlybiau plant a hefyd rhoi pregeth neu ddwy – ac o’r gwaith yma mae cwestiwn amlwg wedi cael ei godi. Beth yw cynllun Duw ar gyfer fy mywyd, beth mae Duw wedi fy ngalw i i’w wneud? Dros y flwyddyn nesa, mi fyddai’n gofyn y cwestiwn yma wrth i mi gael cyfle i ddysgu, arwain a thyfu fel arweinydd yn y gymanfa leol trwy ddilyn cwrs hyfforddi i brofi’r alwad.
Mae’n mynd i fod yn flwyddyn gyffrous iawn a dwi am i chi fy helpu i. Mae’r cwrs wedi ei noddi gan y gymanfa a DAWN Cymru ar y cyd ac yn cynnwys lleoliad penodol a darlithoedd ar bynciau megis astudiaethau beiblaidd, athrawiaeth a gweinidogaethu.
Pwrpas yr apêl yma yw i godi £2500 i’w gwneud hi’n bosib i mi dreulio blwyddyn nesa yn profi galwad Duw ar fy mywyd a helpu amryw Eglwys o fewn Cymanfa Gorllewin Morgannwg. Felly dwi’n gofyn i chi gyfrannu hyna y fedrwch chi, er mwyn gwneud hyn yn bosib a chefnogi gwaith Duw yng ngorllewin Morgannwg.
Mae yna ‘addewidion’ ar gyfer symiau penodol o arian, ond teimlwch yn rhydd i rhoi llai neu hyd yn oed mwy!

I’m Tomos Roberts-Young and I live in Swansea. As a member of Capel Gomer and working within the West Glamorgan Baptist Association, I’ve had the opportunity over the past few years to lead bible studies, help with kids clubs and also give a sermon or two – and from this work, an obvious question has been raised. What is God’s plan for my life, what has God called me to do? Over the next year, I will ask this question and have the chance to learn, lead and grow as a leader in the local association by following a training course to test the call. It’s going to be a very exciting year and I want you to help me. The course is sponsored by the assembly and DAWN Wales jointly and include a specific location and lectures on subjects such as biblical studies, doctrine and ministry.
The purpose of this appeal is to raise £ 2,500 to make it possible for me to spend next year test God’s call on my life and help various churches in West Glamorgan Baptist Association. So I’d like to ask you to consider contributing as much as you can, in order to make this possible and support the work of God in West Glamorgan.
There are pledges for specific amounts of money, but feel free to give less or even more!
