LETS GET TO WORK! Our Change, Our Kids
The Muskegon Area Promise is a unique commitment to the young people of our community—one that believes if students work hard, they will be able to earn at least a two-year college degree tuition free! Muskegon Area Promise Scholarships will fund an associate’s degree, license or certificate program at Muskegon Community College or Baker College of Muskegon. Recipient students must live in and graduate from a high school located within Muskegon Area Intermediate School District boundaries, and have a high school graduation GPA of 3.5 or higher to qualify.
A community-wide fundraising campaign called “Let’s Get to Work! Our Change, Our Kids” has been launched to establish the Promise Scholarship privately for its first few years. Additionally, a philanthropic and corporate investment campaign is also being crafted that will work to enhance the community’s contribution effort. Business leaders, organizations and institutions are encouraged to accept the challenge and invest in the future of Muskegon County!
Our fundraising goal will ensure the eligible graduates, including the class of 2015, attending our local colleges can enroll with financial confidence! Will you help us by donating? Muskegon County.... Let's Get to Work!
