Funds Needed for Animal Shelter

THE PURPOSE: Philadoptables is a fantastic organization that helps many animals in need each year. A few years ago, architectural drawings were created to construct an open air shelter for a safe  play area at The Animal Care and Control Team of Philadelphia (ACCT Philly). This new structure will allow for the animals, volunteers, and staff to play, exercise, and interact in any type of weather. Unfortunately, due to building requirements by The City of Philadelphia the available funds set aside to build the structure have come up short. The building department is requiring expensive ground drilling and testing to be completed, as well as fire rated materials to be used for the project.  OUR GOAL: PURO-TEC Property Restoration is dedicated to seeing a successful completion to this project. We offered to be the general contractor and provide project management oversight. Upon pulling permits to construct the open air shelter, it became apparent the costs would be over the original budget. After months of trying to work around these requirements, we have discovered no other solution than to raise additional funds. The new budget of $28,000 reflects the labor, materials, and associated costs required to build the structure. Raising the additional $11,000 will complete this project!
