Lucky Coin for CrohnieClothing

Hi there,

Thank you for visiting my GoFundMe page. My name is Jennifer McGregor a 22 year old from Glasgow, Scotland who was diagnosed in 2007 with Crohn's disease which led to me needing to get an ileostomy (similar to a colostomy) in December last year due to my intestines not working correctly which has led to me creating the blog CrohnieClothing which I wanted to find clothes that were stylish yet worked for people like myself who had something they may want to cover up like scars/burns/colostomys.

My goal with CrohnieClothing has always been one day to create fashionable clothing for people in a similar position to myself   but within the last year another reason I want to proceed with this is because my beloved big brother Duncan was diagnosed in August 2014 with Oesophageal cancer. This horrible disease sadly meant we only had another year with our inspirational boy before he sadly passed away on the 23rd of August 2015.

Due to one of Duncan's lifetime wishes always being to have his own fashion line, he felt like he could bring structured shirt collars and well fitting trousers to the world and even went as far to have his own name for his clothing line which is Lucky Coin.

This is where I come in, I want to bring Lucky Coin Clothing to life and have all the menswear section of CrohnieClothing be dedicated to my hero of a big brother. So if you could donate any of your money or time by even helping to arrange funraising or even just sharing this to raise awareness of my page I would really appreciate it.

T plan is for there to be 10-15 key pieces per season for men and women but will have customizable options like lace over neck lines or longer hems etc. to hide scars, bamboo cotton for sensitive skin/ those who have burns or eczema and elasticated parts of waistbands to expand with colostomy /ileostomys /urostomys or can remain unchanged for those who do not need the customizations but want to donate to our cause!

Since Duncan could potentially have had more of a fighting chance if he could have been diagnosed early, any profits made by Lucky Coin for CrohnieClothing will be put into a fund in Duncans name for people who are in need of an endoscopy so we can try and give them a better chance at a long life. With this disease early diagnosis is crucial and we don't want other families going through what we have gone through losing our boy.

If you'd like more information about any of the above, the blog is crohnieclothing.wordpress.com, I'm available on facebook under Jennifer Connel McGregor or Crohnie Clothing.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Lets give Duncan a lasting legacy and raise awareness about Crohn's disease and Oesophageal Cancer!
