East Village Fire 119-123 2nd Ave

Donation protected
My name is Cameron Moulton and I am an East Village Resident, originally from Warwick, Rhode Island.

Yesterday, a buiding on my street (119-123 2nd ave) in New York City caught fire and now 56+ people are left without a home. I really don't have any relationshiop to the people who lost heir homes, but this being so close to where I live I felt very much a part of the situation.

I can't imagine what it would be like to lose everything I own, nor do I know how I would find the money to replace everything I own. I imagine that these same 56+ people who are now homeless feel the same way right about now.

Clothes, kitchen utensils, TV's, food, electronics....everything must now be replaced and knowing people in my neighborhood are left without anything makes me want to do something/anything for them.

I've never started a gofund project or done anything like this before, so I'm not sure how much we can help but I think at this point anything would help these people!

I will be teaming up with LES Ready! to get these funds distributed. Check them out on their site as well. (http://lesready.org/)

Every penny helps!
