Happy Tails for the Tripods

This is Belle and Jessa. We pulled them from ACS on 2/21 after they had been living in a neglected home.
Jessa is a year old pointer/pittie mix. She was pregnant when hit by a car. She delivered her babies successfully but her right front leg was fractured at the elbow. So it dangles and while it appears to not cause her too much pain, it's definitely a hinderance.
Belle is a year old pitbull mix. She was struck by the same car and had her left front leg dragged under the car. It is infected and painful and she can't put weight on it.
Both of these sweet dogs need their legs amputated. In addition to that, Jessa is heartworm positive and needs injections after her surgery.
Since 2011, we have rescued well over 600 animals. All special needs animals deserve an opportunity at a long, happy, healthy life just like any other animal. What they don't deserve is being abandoned and discarded at a shelter and placed at the top of the euthanasia list.
Your generous donations allow us to bring in more medical cases like these two and give them a chance for adoption and a new life.
