Dreams can come true

When I was a little girl I had a silly dream that I would be an Olympic gymnast with a balance beam in the backyard all while being a mother and a veterinarian. I am no where near an Olympic gymnast or a mother or a veterinarian, but last year in 2014 I made Team USA for the Duathlon to compete in World Championships 2015 which will take place in Adelaide, Australia in October. It will be the closest thing to making it to the Olympics as anything and extremely mind blowing. I am nothing more but an average athlete I train and have just as much determination to go just as hard as anyone to try to be above average.
The Duathlon consists of running and biking in the order of run-bike-run usually ranging from 2-6miles in the first leg, 20k+ for the second leg and running from another 2-6miles in the third leg. In New Jersey since 2013 I am undefeated, Nationals I placed 15th overall. I am hoping to continue the streak
I am fundraising so I can go to compete with other Team USA members at this once in a lifetime opportunity competing not for myself but for family, friends, the kids I coach and for the great USA.
While I pride myself on being independent on a lot of issues I know when to ask for help. To accomplish this dream I am going to need you! The money that will be raised will be used to purchase Team USA uniforms, transport my bike, the registration fee, hotel, flight and passport.
Anything left over will be donated!
