Khloe was diagnosed with complex partial seizure disorder when she was 16 months old. Although, her drs believe she had seizures as early as six months given her EEGs. More recently she has been diagnosed with a rare genetic mutation that they are linking to Dravet Syndrome. Research has recently discovered that Dravet is a spectrum disorder, similar to Autism. We battle everyday to try to continue to keep her on the functioning end of the spectrum. Khloe's avg seizure numbers are anywhere from 2-7 a day. On the other end of the spectrum, parents deal with severe physical and cognitive disabilities and hundreds of seizures daily.

Two-thirds of all diagnosed with epilepsy will never know the cause of their seizures. There is no cure YET!!! We aren't giving up. We are standing up. As parents of a child with epilepsy, we live minute by minute. We never know what the day will bring us, any given hour or minute could be the next ambulance trip, a catastrophic fall, a brain damaging status seizure or far far worse. Vigilance is what God has tasked us with. We want to spread as much awareness as we can. Our only hope is this, that our story will task you. Please show support and spread awareness for the families and children of such a rare and horrible condition.

All money raised through this fundraiser will go towards obtaining a seizure dog for Khloe. A seizure dog has the gift of sensing a seizure up to 45 minutes before they happen. This allows whomever is in Khloes presence to prepare ahead of time and keep Khloe safe and out of harms way. Such an amazing dog comes with a heavy price though so it is via amazing contributors which will make this possible.
