This is Roy. He developed uveitis at 4 months old (believed to have been caused by feline coronavirus), and I was told he would probably develop FIP and die before he reached a year old. He beat the odds and is now 11 1/2 years old, but he is suffering from chronic glaucoma brought on by the uveitis and has gone blind in his left eye. We have been able to manage it with medicine up to now, but it has recently gotten worse and the pain is causing him more health problems. We were told by the vet that our best option is to have an enucleation, which is a removal of his left eye. Roy is the sweetest, most patient, most affectionate cat in the world, and we want to do whatever it takes to give him a long, happy, pain-free life. The procedure is fairly expensive, though, and we could really use help.
