As my career path has changed, the educational content and networking at Adobe MAX has become more relevant than ever. I would enjoy building upon the foundation of knowledge I now have!
Whereas I have attended in the past as a teaching assistant or volunteer of some sort, I'd like to go once more under circumstances where I am free to maximize upon the sessions and events I need. Anyone who has encountered me at conferences over the past 5 years knows I'm generally in roles of servitude that leave me unable to truly do this. I want to be a plain ole attendee, and I don't have an employer of the sort who would pay for such things.
I will also have opportunities to clock experience and meet people in the industry external to the conference while in Los Angeles, to include one or two other 'starving artists' with whom I already collaborate!
The costs will help me cover coast-to-coast travel (Baltimore to Los Angeles) and accommodation expenses. GoFundMe takes ~8% off the top of each contribution on my end.
