J'ssiah's wish to beat cancer
Three-year-old J'ssiah Brown is a happy, adorable little boy, who is dearly loved. He is a real inspiration to many people including the consultants, Doctors and Nurses, J'ssiah was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) when he was aged one. He was on steroids, numerous blood transfusions and underwent intensive chemotherapy treatment that has resulted in weight gain, weight and hair loss also aligned with extremely painful side effects. J'ssiah has also suffered from pneumonia and shallow breathing, not great for a three year old boy who just wants to run around and play. He has spent a vast amount of time in hospital
J'ssiah received his 7 year old brother Kyerell's donated bone marrow cells in April 2014. He had severe side effects of blisters all over his face, body and internally. He had a very long journey ahead of him and we were hopeful he would continue to build his strength and remain leukemia free.
Sadly, J’ssiah’s aggressive cancer has returned in his leg, regrettably the doctors are not willing to give any further treatment for J’ssiah to overcome the Cancer due to the amount of deadly toxins he has received over the past two years. This has left the family in great distress, as we all believe that J’ssiah will overcome the cancer with the correct treatment overseas.
We would like to raise funds for further private treatment of Proton beam therapy overseas and to give him some real great fun time with his family. We are hoping that the public will give this beautiful boy the help needed to get treatment and some fun time with his family.
