Help Andrew to P2P Leadership Forum

Hello.  I'm proud to be Andrew's grandmother, Cindy Buehler.   Andrew is in 7th grade at Hardin Middle School in St. Charles, Missouri.  He was recommended by two of his teachers to be an ambassador at the People to People (P2P) Independence Day World Leadership Forum (July 1-7, 2015).  He has since been accepted based on outstanding scholastic merit, leadership potential and exemplary citizenship.

With students from around the nation and the world, Andrew will study our country's history and engage in a variety of activities in both Philadelphia and Washington, D.C.   He'll also learn about the sacrifices, ideals, and contributions of great leaders and ordinary citizens, and he'll reflect on others’ leadership qualities as well as his own.  A service project is also an integral part of the program.

At the moment, Andrew still needs $1500 to cover the rest of his tuition. 

Over the last several months, Andrew has raised nearly $1000 towards the base cost of the program ($2495).  He’s recruited sponsors directly and has done small jobs for people such as shoveling snow and raking leaves.  He has also held garage sales where he explains his opportunity and makes it known that all donations for items go towards his P2P tuition.  His most recent garage sale yield was $163.  He has another sale scheduled for this Saturday, April 11th, at 725 Caulks Hill Road, St. Charles, MO 63304 from 7:00 a.m. to 2 p.m.  Plan to come.
