A Race for Kyley

Hey Everyone!
My name is Kurstin Bulas, twin sister to Kyley Bulas. Over the years, we shared a lot of big dreams and aspirations together. There was one thing that we especially wanted to do—the Disney Princess Run in Orlando. Unfortunately, Kyley was in a devastating car accident and passed away May 12 of this year. She was only 21 years old. Going through that was the most gut-wrenching, and painful experience that I’ve ever gone through in my life. Some of you knew her, and I’m sure you felt similarly. Even writing this is hard, and I’m still having many sad days… but if there was one thing Kyley would’ve wanted for me, for our family, it would be to live our lives to the full—to seek happiness, healthiness, and love. That’s why I decided to run the Disney Princess Run, in Kyley’s name.
The Disney Princess Run is a half marathon in Orlando, Florida February 22nd, 2015—which is 2 days after our birthday. My wonderful boyfriend, Taylor Pfeifer, will be running along side me, and training with me over the next few months. Together, we’ll be raising funds to cover the expenses of the run & our flights; 100% of the profits will be donated to an amazing local organization called the Neural Health Project. We’ve partnered with Dr.DeeDee Maltman, the organizations founder, and a respected physician in our community. We hope to raise awareness and finances to accelerate the project forward. We believe the Neural Health Project will serve as a remarkably constructive platform for those who suffer from mental health problems, and continue to lead the innovation in its field. This is an organization that Kyley would get behind—we can’t do it alone! We need your help!
