Nepal Earthquake Recovery Fund

This morning, a 7.9 magnitude earthquake devastated my home country of Nepal, and took the lives of over 1500 (and still counting) people. The situation is very severe. Many buildings, including homes, schools, government buildings, religious sites (many of them UNESCO world heritage sites), etc.  have been destroyed. Health care for people is not easily accessible, as hospitals are turning people away as there are not enough resources. For a country that thrives on tourism, many historical monuments have been demolished. In this time of severe crisis, please join me in raising funds for help. Every dollar you donate will go towards this cause. Lets bridge the gap, and show support. Lets be the hope and do what we can to help. Together, we can make a difference.

We are well on our way to meet the goal. I was born in Nepal, and still have a large majority of my family there who have been affected by this. My main aim with the campaign is to help with aid efforts. All the funds that have been raised will be donated to Nepal Red Cross. They have been providing relief and aid in Nepal right now, with collaboration from the American Red Cross.
