Recovery For Rent Money
Donation protected
My developmentaly and physically disabled son was taken advantage of by Christopher Scarlett and now faces eviction. Scarlett befriended my son while they both rode public transportation and then started demanding money. He even threatened my son with physical harm. Over three months, Scarlett swindelled $1,045 from my son. When the landlord called me to tell me my son was three months behind and he would be serving an eviction notice, I checked everything out and found the truth. Scarlett has been arrested, but my son still faces eviction because of this heartless person who exploited my son because of his disabilities. I do not have the means to make up the rent money, which is $1,600 that is due now. I fear my son will be evicted and ultimately lose his independence. He has always worked to the best of his ability, but now cannot physically work due to serious health problems including congestive heart failure.
