13 Moons of Matrescence, an Umpqua Valley-based business focusing on with-womyn work through the journey of womanhood and motherhood, is working to provide a Red Tent & Womyn's Lodge to their local small-town community. The head mistress of 13 Moons of Matrescence, Aileen 'Wren' Peterson, has been gearing towards this moment for a few years, and the stones have just started to fall into place in the last few months. She purchased a teepee-like tent structure called a Lavvu two years ago but was unable to build the poles. Recently she moved from NC to OR and needs to have the canvas shipped to her home, and to purchase poles from a local craftsman. She decided to turn to her community to help fund this endeavor and get her Red Tent and Womyn's Lodge off the ground-- literally and figuratively.  Please watch our fundraiser video to learn more about what we want to use the tent for. 

**A breakdown of the funds/items needed:

>> $100 to ship the canvas from NC to OR

>> $250 for the poles themselves **UPDATE** It is now only going to cost about $50 to get the poles made!!

>> About $70 for a wood burning stove, specifically for use in tents, to heat the inside during the winter months. Can also be used to prepare tea and cakes, and with some work, turn the tent into a sauna.

>> Any extra donations will go towards covering supplies for decorations including cushions, stools, rugs, fabrics and draperies, candles, lights, etc.

+ Monetary donations will be received here, and physical donations (items for the tent) are welcome! Please contact us if you wish to donate an item.
+ All funds earned go directly to setting up the tent/lodge.
