It is with profound sadness to announce that our friend Chris Morin passed away suddenly last night.
This was utterly shocking, as the village around Chris was preparing for a long and successful battle against cancer. Chris ultimately succumed to an undetected pulmonary embolism. His wife, Kate, posted the following journal entry on the family's CaringBridge site:
"Broken
Last night Chris suddenly suffered a pulmonary embolism and despite the best efforts of the EMTs and fire department he is gone. We are stunned and heartbroken. Please keep us all in your prayers as we navigate this awfulness...our village has lost an amazing husband, father, son, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend. I'll have someone update with arrangements. Hug your loved ones super tight, thankyou for all the love you have shown us. Kate"
Please keep this family in your thoughts, and thank you all once again for the extreme generosity towards helping the family pay ongoing bills, and maintain a small degree of normalcy.
Service:
There will be a service on Tuesday, June 20th, at 10:00AM, at The Church of the Good Shepherd, at 163 New Canaan Avenue in Norwalk, CT.
The family has set up a CaringBridge.org site for ongoing updates and assistance requests/scheduling:
