Rende Housing/Clean-up Fundraising

Dear family and friends,
I am sharing this story on behalf of Jon and Katrina Rende, and their family. My sister, Natalie, has been living with them for the last couple of years, and the situation described below affects her, also. The information has been shared on Facebook, and has been ongoing since May 1st, 2019.
"We have been out of our house from May 1st, when Jon noticed a strong fuel smell seeping into the basement. It has been discovered we have 'fuel oil#2' leaking into our sump pump, which has the same properties as diesel fuel. As the fumes are very strong, our home is currently not livable. We have no idea when, or even if, our family of 10 will be able to move back in, as there is no end in sight to the process of finding out what is happening.
We are grateful to all of those that have provided support to our family, especially to Brandon and Melissa Dudlets for graciously allowing us to stay with them. We asked for continued prayers for all of us as the stress levels are high and fuses are short."

The state of Michigan has stated that as the result of all of the testing that has been completed, they have denied funding for living expenses.
The insurance company has stated there is no allowance for coverage of gas fumes in your home from chemicals. As such, they have ruled that they will not provide a living allowance, nor cover cleanup of the chemicals that have been absorbed into the carpets, furniture, mattresses, clothing, bedding, flooring and even potentially our drywall.
At this time there is no end in sight, and they are looking for a place to stay immediately. Options would be for either a vacation rental home in or around Troy, MI, or to purchase, or rent, a camper trailer or RV/motor home that will sleep 10-11 people.
We ask that you prayerfully consider what you can afford to donate to this living expense fund. We also ask that you keep all of their family in your prayers, that God will be their protector and strength, that He will be in control of the whole situation and His will be done for His honor and glory.
