Hi my name is Rileigh, I’m 22 and I’m fundraising for my liver transplant!

I was diagnosed with an autoimmune liver disease at the age of 13 called autoimmune hepatitis. At the time of diagnosis I had severe scarring on my liver and my loved ones and I were told at some point in my life I would need a new liver. After 9 years of treatment for AIH and liver cirrhosis, that point has come.

Transplant is a long expensive journey. With the average cost of transplant being $577,100 its quite scary for a 22 year old starting out in life. While it’s uncertain how long of a wait there might be for my new liver, hopefully we can raise enough funds to make this journey a little less treacherous!
