Rhino Conservation Cup

Donation protected
The passing of the last male Northern White Rhino, Sudan, showed more than ever how critically endangered rhino species are becoming globally.

The Last Male Standing Rhino Cup is an annual cricket competition that supports animal welfare at the Ol Pejeta Conservancy in Kenya. The event helps to create awareness of the plight of the Northern White Rhino and the broader risk of extinction for this and other species of animals due to poaching, and the ivory and rhino horn trade.

Ol Pejeta Conservancy is the home of the LAST two remaining Northern White Rhinos on the planet, and was home to the recently deceased last male, Sudan. Ol Pejeta is committed to the conservation of all rhinos, with over 180 Black Rhinos and Southern White Rhinos protected at the Laikipian conservancy. We need your help to continue their success story.

The Last Male Standing Rhino Cup is a collaborative effort between Ol Pejeta Conservancy (home of the last two Northern White Rhinos), The British Army (BATUK), The East Africa Character Development Trust and Last Man Stands T20 cricket.

The privately funded event was launched in 2015 and has received worldwide media coverage, helping to build awareness and enhance conservation.

100% of money raised from the tournament and on this GoFundMe page supports the two following charity programs:

- The Ol Pejeta Conservancy  works to conserve wildlife, provide a sanctuary for great apes and to generate income through wildlife tourism and complementary enterprises for re-investment in conservation and communities:  www.olpejetaconservancy.org

- The East Africa Character Development Trust  transforming the lives of thousands of disadvantaged young Africans through sport and education http://eacdt.org

WE NEED YOUR HELP

“It seems to me that the natural world is the greatest source of excitement; the greatest source of visual beauty; the greatest source of intellectual interest. It is the greatest source of so much in life that makes life worth living.” - Sir David Attenborough
