National championship in Florida

The RichCity Spiders is a youth football organization created 5 years ago with one goal in mind-to serve the Richmond community by fostering the city's youth to play responsible, safe, and healthy football. The organization relies solely on the generosity of donations from the community and maintains a policy of lower player registration fees to ensure that all children are afforded the opportunity to participate. Even though the registration fees are much lower than surrounding organizations, the RichCity Spiders sponsor approximately 25% of their players who otherwise could not afford to play. The organization is run by 100% volunteers who selflessly give their time and monetary contributions so that Richmond's youth are exposed to highly competitive play.

The 8U and 10U RichCity Spiders teams achieved perfect seasons this fall and are ranked in the Virginia standings, which allows them to compete on a national platform in Florida. Without the help from the community and the generosity of our fans we will be unable to attend the national championship unless we can raise enough money to sponsor those players who cannot afford to participate. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for many of these kids to gain exposure at the national level and allow others to witness their future potential as outstanding athletes.
