The Long Version Of Samuel's Story
___________________
Samuel is an aspiring young entertainer. He has asked his parents, Donna and Henry, to help him follow his Rising Star dream. Over the past couple of years, he has matured and become a responsible young man.
Friends and family often compliment him and say how he is a very smart young gentleman. He is also a gifted learner in our homeschool. He easily memorizes information, quickly grasps concepts and is able to move rapidly through the subject matter with mastery-level understanding.
We trust him to do the work required to follow his dream, while also living a balanced and well-rounded life (and keeping his schoolwork up). We are behind him 100% to support him in this challenging journey. We trust God to send us sponsors to join us in supporting him financially, too.
SAMUEL’S FIRST EXPERIENCES AS AN AMATEUR MODEL, ACTOR AND DANCER
For years, Samuel has loved to write and act in his own skits and videos. He has a winning smile, adorable dimples and a natural affinity for the camera. He has performed on stage as a dancer and actor. He even won the first half of a baby modeling competition at Town Center Mall in Kennesaw when he was about a year and a half old.
His live performance was with the One Talent organization. It was during their anti-bullying event at the College Park Auditorium. It was called "The Believe Movement” in July 2014.
ABOUT “EAST COAST HOLLYWOOD” OPPORTUNITIES IN ATLANTA
Samuel lives with his family in the South Metro Atlanta, Georgia region. Atlanta is also known as East Coast Hollywood because we live about 15 minutes away from Tyler Perry’s Studios. We live about 10 minutes away from the major large new movie studios being built in Union City, Georgia. And many tv shows and films are made in this region every day in the state of Georgia by many different production companies from all over the world.
Atlanta is also home to the world-famous AMTC talent agency. They train and mentor young Christian entertainers to maintain their values as they enter into the industry. They also partner with other agencies and companies who do the same. One of those is a well-known entertainment industry agency that does a yearly summer camp to train youth so they can compete for professional jobs in the industry.
Samuel has been accepted into their summer boot camp for 2015. He attended his orientation session on May 23rd. They will start their first day of this intensive industry-focused training after Memorial Day. As I write this note for you, we are all so excited to see his dream manifesting. Samuel’s first sponsor has already given one week of support!! Yeah!!! Now Samuel is able to begin on the first day of the camp.
And we trust that more sponsors will come forward to help him attend the full seven weeks of camp. If you want to help him realize his Rising Star Dream, consider giving at any level. We will be grateful to receive whatever you are led to give.
WHAT RESULTS ARE WE EXPECTING?
We are excited that Samuel has an opportunity to build strong skills in acting, dancing and singing. This 7 week intensive camp includes mentorship from experienced, successful industry pro’s. We are very glad to know that they mentor the children from a Biblical world-view. They encourage the children to walk in love towards others and to dress modestly.
We know a young lady who has been signed to a youth rock group after working with them. She and her family have been our friends for years. We have been excited to watch her journey and her other fellow band members’ journeys, too.
At the orientation, we also heard from many other families who have already been a part of this agency. Everyone, from the staff to the other families, are so down to earth and supportive of each other. We are looking forward to becoming part of this family of people who have big vision, like we do. What an honor to be able to join them!
