Hi. My name is Jen, and I've been struggling with depression and anxiety for the last three years. It sucks, every normal day is a battle, but there's a tiny piece of me that won't quit just yet.
I was unable to work for several months last year, which coincided with my husband having to go down to part time at his work. It's been tough. Out of necessity I found a temporary Christmas job (my old job didn't want anything to do with me anymore). I cried most nights (and some lunch breaks) from the sheer exhaustion of trying to keep it together, and the dread of repeating it all tomorrow; but I did it - and not that long after I'd been spending my days hiding from the postman, convinced I'd never go out again.
I got a permanent part time job in February. I'm lucky, my co workers are good, kind people who care and even understand what I'm going through. The catch is getting in. I live out of town. The nearest village with a bus is a 20 minute drive away and my little scooter isn't coming back from the garage this time. My husband was able to give me a lift for the first few weeks but is now back up to full time, which includes mornings, evenings and nights.
I need to replace my vehicle with something more reliable, another bike as that is considerably cheaper than a car. The garage has a Peugeot Vox they're willing to sell me for £999.00. It's a 110cc (I don't need to go fast) and can do up to 200mpg so should be quite economic.
