RockyStrong!

Ryan "Rocky" Breedlove is a beloved member of our community.  As a happily married, father of 3 boys, Special Education teacher at Edgewood High School, coach of 2 youth football teams, fantastic friend and mentor, he is loved and respected by many!  As an active 32 year old, it has been shocking news to learn that he has esphogeal cancer, with an abdominal tumor and questionable spots in his spine and shoulder bone.  The combination of Proton Radiation Therapy together with chemotherapy is believed by his team of medical professionals to be the most potentially effective course of treatment.  Co-pays for doctor appointments that have occurred in the last 2 weeks alone have already taken a toll on the family's resources.  It is our desire to ensure that his young family will not need to worry about potential costs of treatment ($45,000 for Proton Radiation if insurance does not cover it), and instead, be able to focus all energy on doing what needs to be done to obtain the medical course of action that is being recommended.  Funds will be used to cover medical expenses as well as household needs throughout his treatment and potential recovery.
