Service Dog for Roger

I am raising money to train a service dog to help me return to a somewhat normal life. On November 20, 2012 I was rear ended turning into the driveway for the barn we run, a riding center for children and adults with disabilities. My family has dedicated the last 9 years in creating this center and has a big part of all out lives.
The accident gave me a major concussion, sometimes called a mTBI depending who you ask, and Post Concussion Syndrome (PCS). The results of this has made me "disabled." I no longer can work in full-time competitive employment, I have not been cleared by my doctors for any type of work, and cannot even work at the riding center anymore, something I loved. I had hoped that I would be able to return to my work there but it has become apparent that I will not and I have transitioned all my duties to others. I will not be leaving but just be more in the background and help where and when I am able to.
As I do not want to take away anything from my family as we are on a limited income now, I am asking for help to pay to train a service dog. Part of the PCS symptoms include anxiety, depression and fatigue (that onsets suddenly) and I have been told by my doctors that a service dog would help with the first two major symptoms and can be trained with alerting me when the fatigue hits so I can stop and not overdo it.
We have started training Sam(antha), a German Shepherd Dog we rescued with the help of a professonal training service, Southland Dog Training, to train Sam to be my Service Dog. Service dog training is not an inexpensive process. Some organizations will charge (or require you to raise) up to $25k. Southland was far less and all the training is done with me in my enviorment. We stepped out on faith that we would raise the remainder of the money when we hit $4,000 and still need your help. Sam has progressed great as my service dog, has become part of the family, and is helping me start to live my life again. Every dollar given goes directly to Sam's training at Southland.
