Please help RevolutionTruth attend the World Forum for Democracy in Strasbourg, France to present our civil liberties initiatives on a global stage.
RevolutionTruth has been invited to present at the World Forum for Democracy, organized by the Council of Europe, in November of 2015. The forum convenes each year to tackle some of the most urgent threats to democracies everywhere. This year, some 1,500 participants from around the world will present their initiatives and ideas on issues related to the tensions between promoting national security and protecting individual rights.
Tangerine Bolen, Founder and Executive Director of RevolutionTruth, or her alternate, attorney Angela Langer, will be presenting our organization's civil liberties initiatives, which we call "Legal Campaigns." Legal Campaigns combine multi-plaintiff, multi-jurisdictional lawsuits and global grassroots advocacy with the aim of crowdsourcing the power and resources necessary to engage in critical legal interventions against both governments and corporations that are actively undermining democracies. Legal Campaigns are strategically designed to overcome major institutional, cultural, and systemic impediments to transformative change. Our work is populist, inclusive, and deeply strategic.
The Forum will be sponsoring one presenter's travel, however, we need to raise the funds to bring our tiny team. Our all-volunteer team has never taken a salary for the work we do and neither have our attorneys. This is an opportunity of a lifetime: a chance to present our work on a global stage, before leaders from around the world!

If we surpass our goal of $5000, the rest of the funds will go towards bringing two more of the RevolutionTruth team members to the World Forum for Democracy.
