Ryan Weekes Memorial Scholarship
Donation protected
The Weekes Family has established a memorial scholarship fund to honor Ryan’s dedication to sports and education. Ryan was an active student athlete for all four years of high school at Holy Name High School in Worcester. Although Ryan was diagnosed with cancer at the beginning of her last semester and last college basketball season at Roger Williams University, she still persevered and graduated with a B.S. in Psychology with minors in English and Legal Studies. Ryan was in the process of applying to law schools as it was her dream to be an attorney.
No parent should ever have to bury their child, but we know that God has a grander plan even if we don't understand it yet. Our faith and the support structure surrounding us is of utmost importance. So is immediately establishing this scholarship fund. We want to keep Ryan's dream alive by helping other students through a memorial scholarship fund.
Donations of any size are truly appreciated. Please feel free to donate, in lieu of flowers, to this fund, as it will help keep Ryan's memory alive in the things that really mattered to her.
We will be posting updates as to the progress of the Ryan Latoya Weekes Memorial Scholarship Fund over the next several months.
