Save this land from development.

Donation protected
This land in Pacific Mo. is pristeen hardwood forest, mostly oak, ash and maple, it is home to seven different types of woodpeckers Pileated, Red Headed, Red Bellied, Downy, Hairy, Yellow Bellied Sapsuckers, and Northern Flickers, and 30 different varieties of other birds such as Cardinals and Bluebirds. It is bordered by a new home development on one side and a rural road on the other, it needs to remain wild and undeveloped.
This campaign's aim is to purchase this plot of land, approx 10 acres before it can be made into tract homes and keep it for the animals. I will share photos of the Deer, Foxes, Raccoons, and birds who call this place home, they are beautiful creatures and deserve to stay there forever. Don't let this place be plowed under.
I will mortgage whatever balance is not funded, it's that important. I will work with the Audobahn Society to get this land officially preserved as a wildlife sanctuary.

This Pileated and his mate have a nest on the property, we expect two chicks this year.

This little female Hairy was stunned when startled by a hawk and flew into a tree, she recovered after sitting for a while and has been a regular visitor to the suet feeder.

Below is the Momma deer from last spring, she now has two little ones in tow.
