Dear everyone,
As most of you know, I suffer from clinical depression and am often suicidal. Lately I've come to realize that the trigger for this is being unhappy about my life situation. I am stuck in a country I have always hated, with a culture and people I can not connect to. I believe if I continue to live here with the constant reminder of an emotionally abusive family, I will be in danger of relapsing.
If ever I have a purpose in life, it is writing and teaching. I believe relocating to a different country and getting a diploma for CELTA is the first step to getting my life on track in order to become a healthier version of myself.
I work in a call center from 2:30PM to 2:30AM and only earn $300 a month. $100 goes to rent, groceries, and communal transportation. Therapy for my depression costs $50 per session, which I go to once a month because it's all I can afford as I wish to save my remaining money.
The cost for airfare plus visa expenses costs around $600 and the cost for Teaching House Sydney's tuition fee for a CELTA diploma is $2989. I ask you to help me pay for my tuition, as that is my biggest financial challenge.
This is all very expensive for someone who lives in a third world country.
