A Waycross man has been charged with murder and aggravated assault in the death of a man and wounding of a woman whose will to live is credited with saving her own life and leading police to the arrest of a suspect.

Sandra Williams called Ware County 911 at 10:22 p.m. Monday night and told the operator she had been shot and locked in the truck of her car and that a male co-worker had been shot and killed and was still in the car,
54-year-old Sandra Williams remarkably found strength to survive, Williams told the dispatcher she did know where she was nor how long her phone's charge would last inside the trunk,
She eventually escaped and although wounded several times made her way out of a wooded area.
Sandra Williams was transported by helicopter to UF Health Jacksonville with several gunshot wounds and was in critical but stable condition Tuesday morning, he said.
Sandra Williams is now asking for your donations to help with the high cost of medical bills and her long road to recovery; she is now forced to never be able to ride in a car that she completely owns; she will be out of work for at lease a year or better; she is a victim and a survivor that needs your help!
