Ullr can’t howl anymore.
A tumor in his neck is taking his voice.
Just one month ago, we lost his brother to cancer… and now he’s fighting too.
⸻
Ullr is 12 years old, but you would never know it if you met him.
He still has the energy of a typical Siberian Husky—playful, full of life, and always ready to “talk.” If you’ve ever heard a husky speak, you know how special that is. Ullr has always been incredibly vocal, expressive, and full of personality. He greets everyone with kindness, loves deeply, and has the gentlest, sweetest soul.
He’s not just my dog—he’s family.
⸻
On February 18, we lost his brother Odin to cancer.
They spent their entire lives together, side by side, for 12 years. They had never been apart. The house has felt quieter and heavier ever since.
Ullr has been grieving that loss.
And now, in the middle of that grief, he’s been diagnosed with thyroid cancer.
⸻
The tumor is in a location where it cannot be surgically removed.
It’s pressing against his trachea and already affecting his ability to vocalize—taking away something that makes Ullr… Ullr.
It’s becoming harder for him to talk, to howl, to use his voice the way he always has.
And if you knew him, you’d know—his voice is everything.
⸻
Radiation therapy is his only real option.
It can shrink the tumor, relieve the pressure, and give him a chance to keep living comfortably and happily.
We are trying to begin treatment as soon as possible before the tumor progresses further.
⸻
The Cost
The cost of Ullr’s care is overwhelming:
• Advanced imaging and diagnostics
• Specialist consultations
• Radiation therapy
The total cost can reach up to $25,000.
We are doing everything we can, but we cannot do this alone.
⸻
How Your Donation Helps
Every donation goes directly toward:
• Life-saving radiation treatment
• Medical care and monitoring
• Keeping Ullr comfortable and giving him a real chance
⸻
After losing Odin, I am not ready to lose Ullr too.
If you can donate or share, you are directly helping save his life.
Even the smallest amount makes a difference.
⸻
Thank you for taking the time to read Ullr’s story, for your kindness, and for helping him fight.
